Who is the most inspiring teacher you ever had and why? How often do you think about what they taught you? How has it changed your life?
My most inspiring teacher was Madame Carney, who taught French (and so much more) in grade school. She had an insatiable passion for life and would tell us how she flew off to Paris right after high school with a few hundred bucks to her name without knowing a soul or a word of French. She traipsed from city to countryside, stayed in hostels, had wonderful romantic adventures (we ascertained). She was inspiring. She told us never ever to take the easy/predictable path and not to be afraid to take risks.
